A10 Networks is a global provider of application delivery solutions to enterprise customers. A10 specializes in the manufacturing of application delivery controllers (software and hardware) for delivering applications faster, safer and with less complexity. Founded by Lee Chen, co-founder of Foundry Networks, A10 originally serviced just the identity management market with its line of ID Series products. In 2005, A10 introduced its first Application Delivery Controller product as well as a new generation firewall called ACE 2150 that integrated into the company's flagship ADX 2100 appliance. The next year they expanded their portfolio with ADC technology when they acquired DataKeeper Systems Corporation's Firewall/VPN business unit in 2006 followed by QoS vendor NetVault Systems.
