It uses Amazons CDN to deliver very fast and reliable traffic tot he end user, without jeopardizing your website. Cloud front is used by some of the largest fortune 500 companies and they rely on this technology for their end user experience. Started in 2009 as a simple gateway, now is a complex multi-country multi node implementation that is a global warehouse for most largely visited websites.
