What is the Musical.ly Organization?

Musical.ly allows users to utilize their smartphone's camera to produce short films up to 15 seconds long and lip sync to small samples of songs, which can then be transmitted privately or shared publicly on other social networking platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The program automatically trims and splits videos into 15-second segments. Users can apply visual effects and filters to their photos and then share them with their friends and followers on other social media sites including Instagram, Twitter, Vine, and Snapchat. The app was first released for iOS in August 2014, and an Android version was released in September 2014. Alex Zhu (CEO), Luyu Yang (CTO), Tian Wang (COO), and Jenny Shen founded Musical.ly.
