Is New York Governemt Website Down?

ny.gov is the New York State government website. New York State is a big state with a small population. That means we have to do things differently—and better—to make sure every corner of the Empire State has access to quality services and opportunities. New York's government provides more direct assistance, opportunity, and protection to its citizens than any other state in America. New York State is divided into sixty-two counties, which serve as the state's principal political division. Local governments work most directly in connection to their citizens as counties do, with local governments within each county exerting limited powers for regional or district objectives. All municipal administrations are directly supervised and controlled by the state government.
