ArXiv is an open access resource containing over 1.3000000 prints in physics mathematics computer science quantitative biology quantitative finance and statistics. It is particularly useful in finding preprint articles which are research articles created by scholars but which have not yet been peer reviewed by other scholars in the field. ArXiv like most highly automated electronic archives and databases allows users to perform both simple and advanced searches. To use this resource at a basic discipline specific level, go to the ArXiv homepage once there select the discipline of choice from the drop-down menu in the top left region of the page and click search button. Once the results have populated you can browse and select sources that are relevant to your topic. The arXiv is an open archive of electronic preprints, known as e-prints, of scientific papers in the fields of mathematics, astronomy, physics, computer science, statistics, quantitative biology, and quantitative finance and all of them can be accessed online.
